Returns
Backyard Shelter offers a thirty (30) day return window, which means you have thirty days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition as received, unused, with original tags attached, and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@backyardshelter.com. Approved returns must be sent to the return address provided by our team. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
If your return request is approved, we will provide return instructions and, when applicable, a return shipping label. Instructions will include details on how and where to send your item.
Damages and Order Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return. These include perishable goods, custom or special-order products, personalized items, personal care products, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, gift cards, and sale items. If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for return, please contact us before initiating a return.
Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return the original item following the process outlined above and place a new order once the return has been approved.
European Union Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to an address within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within fourteen (14) days of delivery for any reason and without justification. Returned items must be unused, in original condition, with tags attached and original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days. Please note that additional processing time may be required by your bank or credit card provider.
